Arctic fur seals have various adaptations to help it survive in the sea. One of the adaptations is thick waterproof fur to keep itself warm and when it dives underwater and to help its fur not get too wet. Also it uses its fore fingers to move on land. The cornea the of eye is strengthened so it can see better underwater. Another adaptation is its eyes are adapted to see in dim light. It can stay underwater for forty minutes without taking a breath. Also it can dive to a depth of over two thousand feet. For these reasons see the arctic fur seal has many adaptations
