The amazing sperm whale is a marine mammal. This wonderful animal is 55 to 65 feet long, and has a weight of almost 100,000 pounds. That makes the sperm whale the largest toothed whale. All sperm whales have a square head from the spermaceti organ. Its giant brain is not the reason of its oddly shaped head. Dark gray and brown are the colors of the sperm whale. Sperm whales have wrinkled, bumpy, scratchy skin. They are big in size, but they have small eyes. Most whales have blowholes on the top of their head, but the sperm whale has a s-shaped blowhole on the left side of its head. Nearly all sperm whales are social. Baby sperm whales talk to their mothers using echolocation. Sperm whales are not ordinary whales.
